Painting Particles!

I’ve been making some paintings. I very lazily posted some process videos and pictures on my Facebook page instead of the blog…sorry.

The Big News (!) is that one of them was picked to be in a gallery show!! w00t!! It will be at the Level 6 Gallery at 100state from February 6 through April 28, 2016. And there’s going to be a public reception on Saturday, February 6 from 1-5 pm. The gallery is at 30 W Mifflin St in Madison.

Here it is. It’s a painting of two Muon particles colliding in a Bubble Chamber. It’s meant to look kinda sorta stitched. It was super fun to make. I hope you can make it!!

  1. Congratulations, Jen. What wonderful news. I love this painting. It’s a bit of an illusion (you know I love those), looks like it’s stitched, but it’s painted. Can’t wait to see it in person.

  2. Love it Jennifer. So chaos theory and law of attraction in one picture. Enjoy the gallery event.

Whaddaya think?
